MuscleTrackr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

This policy applies to all information collected through our app and any related services, sales, marketing, or events.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Workout data: exercises, sets, reps, weights, dates, and duration
• Personal records: your best performances for exercises
• Templates: custom workout templates you create
• Goals: fitness goals and targets you set
• Preferences: app settings, weight units, rest times, notification preferences
• Account information: if you sign in with iCloud, we may collect your Apple ID information

We also collect information automatically when you use the app:

• Usage data: how you interact with the app, features used, session duration
• Device information: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Log data: app crashes, errors, and diagnostic information

3. Health Data (Optional)

If you choose to enable HealthKit integration:

• We only write data to Apple Health (workout duration, exercise names, sets/reps)
• We do not read your existing Health data without explicit permission
• You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health
• Health data is stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account (if iCloud Sync is enabled)
• We do not share Health data with third parties

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Track your workouts and calculate progress metrics
• Generate personalized analytics and insights
• Send you workout reminders and notifications (if enabled)
• Respond to your support requests and inquiries
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues
• Analyze usage patterns to improve app functionality

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored:

• Locally on your device in encrypted form
• In your private iCloud account (if iCloud Sync is enabled)
• In exported backup files (if you create backups)

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync:

• Your data is stored in your private iCloud account
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• Your data syncs across all devices signed in with the same Apple ID
• You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in app Settings
• Disabling iCloud Sync does not delete data from your device or iCloud

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information except:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests
• To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
• In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, etc.)

We may share aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you for analytics and improvement purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with:

• Apple iCloud: for data synchronization (Apple's privacy policy applies)
• Apple HealthKit: for health data integration (optional)
• Apple App Store: for in-app purchases and subscriptions

These services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

9. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the app at any time
• Export your data in JSON, CSV, or PDF format
• Delete individual workouts, exercises, or templates
• Delete all app data from Settings
• Disable iCloud Sync at any time
• Revoke HealthKit permissions in iOS Settings
• Opt out of notifications in app Settings

To exercise these rights, use the in-app tools in Settings → Data & Backup.

11. Data Retention

We retain your data:

• As long as your account is active or you use the app
• Until you delete it using the in-app deletion tools
• In iCloud until you delete it or disable iCloud Sync

When you delete data, it is permanently removed from our systems and iCloud. Exported backups are your responsibility to manage.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your country. When using iCloud, your data is processed by Apple according to their privacy practices.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the 'Last Updated' date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
